I have had TX350 now for about 18 months and driven more than 15000 miles. At the most, I can fill 14.8 gallon to 15 gallon on nearly empty tank. My driving range (mix of city & hwy driving) comes out at about 260-270 miles. After filling tank, it usually shows about 290-300 range but net will be close to 260 miles.
When I bought the vehicle, I was told that this car has 17.8 gallon tank and average mpg will be 22-23 mpg and driving range in 380 - 450 miles. Which sold me this car over Rivian R1S which would cost about the same but had less than 300 miles range.
I have asked Lexus dealership as well as Lexus but they don't seem to have any clue or technical data. Dealership says that other TX owners have reported same problem but it is up to Lexus engineers to come up with a fix. Lexus customer service is in a denial mode that the car has any problems.
What is your experience? Have you been noticing how much fuel you fill every time and total driving range? Do you experience going back to gas station more often with this car than any other similar larger vehicle?
