What do you think of the Lexus TX's grille design?

To me it's a refreshing look from the usual spindle grille.

"With the 2024 Lexus GX and TX the designers finally decided they didn’t need to slap the same grille on every vehicle. What do you think of the anti-nesting doll direction and which look do you prefer? I think I like the cleaner look of the TX (top) to the X themed GX (bottom) but both of these look significantly more attractive than the last gen RX and GX. The GX specifically look to me like a Pokémon sucked on a lemon…"

We looked at the grand Highlander but didn’t like all the black plastic on it or the interior quality. My wife went with a 350 luxury with black leather. The 22 inch wheels also give it a much more refined look. I would have gone with the Hybrid if it was my car but she was good without the extra power. We like the grille as well. Some of the others are a little too busy but I own a BMW IX which has a very polarizing grille as well.
Welcome to the forum and congrats on the TX!
What are your thoughts on the build quality? Any likes/dislikes about it so far?

So far she is really liking it. It’s very comfortable to ride in, quiet and great for our 3 kids. Getting in and out of the back was a concern, coming from a minivan, but it’s actually quite easy. You really have to close the doors hard as they have a lot of soundproofing in them. The tech is good as well, although the Sirius interface isn’t the greatest but I’m spoiled by the IX’s interface. She will just use the XM app in carplay which works well and really where she leaves the screen at anyway. All the safety features and cameras are great and really helps her when parking. Although Lexus in general needs to fix the digital key experience as it’s not seamless or consistent. We can’t trust it to leave the keys behind like we do with the BMW. I have not taken a physical key in 6 months in the IX but with the TX, short of just pulling it out of the garage, we take a physical key. The other remote features all work great though (lock, unlock, start, set AC temp, etc). We will be taking it on a full road trip in a couple weeks so will get to really see how it compares to the old van! All around we are very happy with the purchase, color and specs (minus not being a hybrid). I just had full xpel PPF and Ceramic applied to keep it looking great for years to come.
That must me one interesting garage, an iX and TX, would love to a pic of them together!
If your kids are still young enough to need car seats, it would be interesting to know how well it accommodates them, don't think we've seen enough TX coverage from parents with kids

I have always bought Toyotas in the past 33 years and I liked their look. I have been wanting to purchase a Lexus RX instead of the Highlander. But, to me, the RX always looks so busy and, well, a Transformer toy. The new TX has a smooth and timeless look and the Grand Highlander has gotten too busy. I have put a deposit on a 500h luxury TX. I don’t know when it will come in, but I’m very patient. The only immediate complaint I have about the TX are the interior colors. Very few color choices. No shades of brown.
With all the TX deliveries happening lately, have you received yours yet?
